Down in Old Mexico....

I went to Mexico for Christmas with my family. I always forget how much I love it there! So, when I was there this time, I started thinking that I would really love to work on a Destination wedding there. 

As soon as I got back I started looking for places and found this wonderful property on Mexico Boutique Hotels. Casa de Sierra Nevada is located in San Miguel de Allende, which is not a beach town, but has a wonderful colonial Mexican charm to it. It is exactly what I think of when I think of being in Mexico. Also, it as not as ridiculously priced as a lot of other Destination places out there.

It's not near a beach, but this pool makes up for it:

 

The guestrooms are spread throughout five colonial mansions. 

This is the perfect spot for someone looking to have about 50-75 guests.

Bridesmaid gifts for a song

Our brides often give their bridesmaids jewelry as their gift.

I came across the Roberta Chiarella site and thought that she had some really great stuff. She also currently has a sale, so you might be able to stock up for your bridal party gifts for less than you expected!

This made me think of an Indian wedding that I have to go as a guest over Memorial Day. I may show up with these...

 

What I would give Xochitl if I was getting married (Not that I am even thinking about it!) if she was in my bridal party.

What a Heel! / My First Post

Hi! I sometimes see things that I like and pass them along to Xochitl...and then she doesnt blog about them. This doesn't create a happy place at the office, so I thought I would start posting up some things in '09. I am generally not as verbose as my lovely business partner, so my posts will be much more simple. Here are some shoes I like:
