Gilda at Naturally-Tasty wanted to give us a cooking class. Xochitl and I could both use one. We tend to hide behind our work, and say that's why we don't cook more often, but in all honestly, I am not sure either of us is really America's Next Top Chef or anything. Sadly, we could never make it work. My kitchen is too small, and Xochitl was too busy that month, so we are as useless in the kitchen as ever.
I really loved Gilda in our initial email conversations. I let her know that I wanted to learn how to cook something that made me look like a gourmet chef, but that took little skill, and she came up with a wonderful menu that we customized together. She goes shopping with you to buy the materials (which I was happy about because I tend to get overwhelmed at the grocery store) and bring any of the cooking supplies that you may not have at home. Also, she teaches you to use all of those things you may be registering for, but not really sure how to use (Xochitl and I had a little a hard time with a tricky Food Processor over Thanksgiving).
